1. Try exercising.
Our bodies tend to stiffen if we stay for a long time without doing some exercises, and therefore it is important to do some exercise to stretch your body before you can do out for mountain climbing. The worst thing that you can do is to go out for a mountain climbing when you have not done any exercise in a long time. All you will feel is pain and this will make you not enjoy mountain climbing. You can start by running and jogging so that you can stretch your legs and you can also prepare your body for mountain climbing.

Not studying the area that you are going for mountain climbing is one of the mistakes the many people make. This actually make many of them lose their way and they spend many hours going around the same place and not reaching the top of the mountain; also going out without knowing the area, can put in the danger of finding dangerous animals or dangerous places that are not safe for climbing. A map will be of great benefit here because it will show you the distance that you will take, the time that you will spend going up and down the mountain, and the physical features in the area.
3. Select the right attire.
Mountain climbing is an outdoor activity that you need to be very careful about what you are wearing; you can go out with so tight clothes, or rather too light clothes. You will notice that in mountain climbing, the higher you move the colder it will get and thus it is important to wear clothes that will serve you in both situations; tight clothes will make it difficult for you to climb the mountain, while the lose one will also make you uncomfortable especially in the wind. It is also important you consider investing in a pair of boots that will be comfortable and warm to prevent your feet from being hurt.
